When you submit a family placement request or a candidate application, we collect the information you provide directly — such as your name, email, phone number, city/ZIP, household or role details, employment history, references, and any other details you choose to share. We do not collect payment information through this website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to prepare for a consultation or interview
• To evaluate candidates and match them with families, including reference and background checks (with consent, as part of our vetting process)
• To communicate with you about your request, application, or an active placement
• To improve our services and this website

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share family or candidate details with third parties except: (a) service providers who help us operate (such as our form processor, Formspree, and background-check or payroll partners we refer you to), (b) between a specific family and candidate once both parties have expressed mutual interest in a placement, or (c) where required by law.

Cookies & analytics

This site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Data retention

We retain family and candidate information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain our candidate roster, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.

Your choices

You may ask us to update, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@homeplaceandco.com. Removing your information from our candidate roster may affect our ability to consider you for future placements.

Children's information

Our services are directed at adults (families and candidates). Family forms may reference the ages of children in the household solely to help us prepare a useful placement match — we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
